• got The LYOD on my ps3 40gb i had for over 5 1/2 years.called spitfire mods and was able to drop off my ps3 for a premium flatrate reball with fan mod included. got a call a week and a half later my ps3 was ready for pickup.it`s been running great for over a month now.highly recommend.great service will do business with again.

• I sent an XBox to be reballed for a red ring of death in February of 2013, and got it back a couple of weeks later in early March - only to have it red ring again after only a couple of hours of use. They guaranteed their work, so I returned it to them the second week of March. It's not August and it's still not been fixed. They responded to an email I sent them on May 16th stating: "We are waiting for tech to get a good test after repair. Your unit is looking ok right now. I will find out how much longer and let you know shortly. Thank you," I've tried calling them multiple times since then and only got a callback on three occasions, and not a single definitive status as to what is going on with my unit. (I even went and bought a new Xbox to maintain family harmony) Be VERY careful with these people. I've heard they do good work (based on my personal research) but in my case, not at all. I'm now out the $114.90 AND they have my XBox and apparently aren't interested in talking to me about it.
