• Pro Tech was scheduled to come out and inspect a gas leak on my oven through my warranty with GE appliances. (Home built in November) After inspecting, the driver backed out of my driveway and went into my yard causing him to completely run over my hydrangeas that I just purchased and planted in the ground. I let him know this happened and he was very sorry but said ?they can?t be killed? and they would be able to be ?pruned?. He also said that if he had not ran over my plants in my yard he would have ?hit my car?. I told him I would have moved my vehicle if that were the case. I informed him the root ball on the plant is completely broken in half and it will not grow correctly. (You can?t tell from photos I showed the company because it?s a sturdy plant unlike some hydrangeas so it was upright but if you go and try to wiggle it.. it?s completely broken). I spoke with Melissa (I believe) at the ?office? who said they were not reimbursing me the $50 for the plant. She also said I was ?just mad that my stove wasn?t being replaced, only repaired?. When I asked to speak to the owner she refused to give him the message or give me a name... She proceeded that they aren?t going to come ?repair? my stove anymore (which is violating the warranty and also the agreement they have with GE) and that she will ?call the cops if I contact them again.? Then to top it all off, she blocks my number. This is an extreme gas leak on my stove which isn?t a minor issue. Lives could be at risk if it were to be left on. Thankfully the stove is being REPLACED by GE and GE appliances reimbursed me for my plant damages. Whoever took the time to read this, save your self the trouble with this company and do not EVER trust them with fixing major issues which are life threatening with appliances. Please shop elsewhere for service. This was beyond unprofessional and I did not ONCE act out of character or in a rude manor with this company. I am very thankful that GE fixed their issue. From what I have heard, many others in the neighborhood (new construction) had hateful things said to them as well so I believe it?s only a matter of time before GE doesn?t do business with them anymore.
