  • 1 star reviewRecently bought a 2003 eclipse gt from this location. I noticed a little smoke coming out of the hood of the car and told the guy (his name is Ramin) after I finished my test drive. He brought his mechanic over and his mechanic told us they did an engine swap and that there was residual oil on the engine that was burning off and it would take a little for the remainder to all burn off. His mechanic SHOOK MY HAND AND GAVE ME HIS WORD IT WASN'T LEAKING OIL. Less than 2 months after buying the car I had a short in the wiring that caused my blinker and tail light not to work. The engine was still occasionally lightly smoking so I reminded him about his mechanics word and how my engine still had smoke coming off it. When I took the car back up to him his mechanic fixed the short but sloppily put my taillights back on (they were still loose so i had to tighten the bolts on them myself). His mechanic simply tightened the head gasket seal and said its not leaking anymore. Ramin then informed me the car needed brakes and rotors "bad". I said wait, you just sold me this car less than 2 months ago, how can it already need breaks and rotors "BAD". The obvious answer, he sold me a car with bad breaks and rotors. Strike 2. He puts new breaks and rotors on the car and less than 3 months after my breaks are squeaking and grinding again. I am no mechanic but breaks last longer than 3 months (I was driving the car conservatively so i wouldn't burn them out). I call Ramin again and tell him my engine is still smoking slightly and he tells me to take it to a mechanic (he recommends a guy who he does business with) and have them determine where its leaking oil and then to bring it to him and he will have his mechanic fix it. He says hopefully its not leaking in a tough spot or the price of the fix could be around $250 or more. I reminded him that he sold me a car that his mechanic gave his word on that it wasn't leaking oil and that we would not be obligated to pay for this oil leak fix, seeing as we already dropped around $650 on the breaks and rotors and the short in the wiring less than 2 months after buying it from him. STRIKE 3. At this point I was done dealing with the fast talking, always interrupting Ramin. I decide to take my car to my old mechanic to get his opinion. turns out the car needs about $1500 of work including the breaks and rotors which Ramin's mechanic did a shotty job on according to my trustworthy mechanic, and an oil leak fix. Yes it turns out it was leaking in the inconvenient place. After said $1500 worth of repairs I then find out the car needs a new power steering pump, which according to my mechanic was jimmy rigged and has needed repair for a while. You would think a guy like Ramin who is starting a family (his wife and baby were present at the time of purchase) would be trying to make an honest living. Turns out he is a lying, fast talking, interrupting, guy who sells cars that he knows will need work within the next few months. I EVEN ASKED HIM WHAT WORK WOULD NEED TO BE DONE IN THE NEXT YEAR ON IT. His answer: it should be fine my mechanic said its running good no problems at all. DON'T BUY A CAR FROM THIS GUY. INSTEAD GIVE YOUR MONEY TO AN HONEST CAR SALESMAN WHO WON'T SCREW YOU OUT OF YOUR MONEY.
