• Searched on the web for a dryer repairman. Mr. Fix it called me and someone by the name of Mr. Jordan came to fix my dryer. I understood that I would have to pay $65 for a diagnostic fee which would go towards my repair. Mr. Jordan stated it may need a motor ($300) I stated I'd be better off buying new dryer. Then he said it may just needs to be cleaned out and he would charge me an additional $15 for that ($80). After the work was done he went from $80 to $130. I explained to him that that was not what he said. He got upset when I questioned him. I think it's unfair to quote me a price and when the job is done you upcharge me an additional $50 (80+50). He pulled a sock out of the vent catcher and pushed a reset button and that cost me $130 (diagnostic money was part of my repair). Times is hard and I don't mind paying for a service but if you give me a price stand by it. I paid him the $130 after he stated $80. If you call this company and Mr. Jordan is your service man I would suggest you request someone else. I feel like he knew it wasn't the motor and saw a opportunity to get over. I always ask great questions to get a understanding with whom ever I spend my money with and Mr. Jordan got upset with me when I asked him about the price increase. I'm conscious about all MY money spent. Next time you service someone Mr. Jordan dont get mad when they want an explanation of the service you're giving. I wish you well inspite of! I didn't wanna give any stars but that was the only way I could leave this review. I can't stress ENOUGH that the DIAGNOSTIC money is supposed to go towards repairs!!! Again $130 to pull socks out vent and push a reset button is way to much.
