• Asked for script to wrap around a piece. The script is inches away (with errors) and the piece is shaded horribly. Wish I was shown the outline before it was put on me without review. Better yet, wish I missed my appt. Best advice, go to a shop with skilled artists that actually listen to your requests. The tattoo I received from Folk City is lazy, misplaced, missized and cheap looking. You should never leave a session feeling like you know more than the tattoo artist.

• AWFUL OWNER! He kept my 100.00 cash. i had a true family emergency come up, and the owner actually seemed happy he was going to be able to keep my 100.00 and do no work.

• Matt has done some work on me. He is quite good and his lines are very clean. Although my husband and I have run into scheduling conflicts when making appointments, Matt always tries to make it right by offering to come in on his day off. Sure, some of the folks who work there are a crude, but it's a tattoo shop. I don't go there for social niceties, I go there to get a good tattoo.

• Rick Casey has done all of my tattoos and I haven't had any other artist he is very artistic and educated about what he does. I can give him a Idea and he can finish it with his own creativity they are all resourceful and educated about what they do. I haven't gone to another shop yet or person since I'm always a satisfied customer

• I traveled from the oceanfront in Virginia Beach this morning to Suffolk to put my name on the list for their anniversary "$50 palm-size" tattoo special. After my name was on the list, I traveled home. At approximately 6:30PM - 7:00PM, I called to ensure everything was going smoothly so I didn't waste my time by coming up and missing the cut because they were still closing promptly at 9:00PM. It was explained to me that they were ahead of schedule and I should be there by about 8:30PM since I was closest to that time slot. Having been advised to be there at 8:30PM, I got there at 8:30PM. Upon showing up, it was explained to me that it would likely not be done. As this was explained to me, one of the artists (whose name I do not know) walked up to the female handling "the list" and said "Call back all of them and say fuck you, it's not happening". So hear I write this review disgruntled, tattoo-less, and having driven approximately 160 miles for something that did not even materialize.
